YoungJoi is a small service with two tools: Listing Studio and Resume Kit. This page explains in plain language what happens to your data. We aim to collect as little as possible.

You do not create a username or password. On your first visit the site asks our server for an anonymous account, and the server returns a random access token. The token is kept in your browser's local storage so your credits are remembered. On our side we store only a SHA-256 hash of that token, not the token itself. The "Copy access link" button gives you a link containing the token so you can restore your credits on another device. Anyone who has that link can spend your credits, so keep it private.

We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, third-party fonts or tracking cookies on this site.

What we do not store

Resume Kit: your resume text and the job post are used to generate the result and are not saved by YoungJoi.
Listing Studio: the product facts you enter, and the generated listings, are not saved by YoungJoi.

Your results stay in your browser tab. If you close it, they are gone unless you copied or downloaded them.

What we do store

An anonymous account record: an internal id, the hash of your access token and a creation time.
Your credit balances and purchase records (the Stripe checkout session id, the pack, the amount and the time).
Usage metadata for each request: which tool, whether it succeeded, which AI provider handled it, approximate token counts and the time. It does not contain your text.
Short-lived counters keyed to your network address (IP) to rate-limit requests and limit abuse.

AI processing

To produce results, the text you submit is sent over an encrypted connection to an AI provider. By default Cloudflare Workers AI processes requests for both tools. If it fails or is unavailable, the request falls back to Groq. These providers act as our AI processors and have their own terms and privacy practices, which we encourage you to read.

Resume Kit text is never sent to DeepSeek. The server is built so that Resume Kit requests can only go to Cloudflare Workers AI or Groq.

Optional DeepSeek mode (Listing Studio only)

Conditional section. YoungJoi can be configured to use DeepSeek as an additional provider for Listing Studio requests. This is off by default. If it is enabled, a notice reading "Listing text may be processed by DeepSeek (China)" appears under the Listing Studio form. In that mode, the product facts you enter (which should not include personal data) may be processed by DeepSeek on servers located in China. If you are not comfortable with this, do not enter listing text while the notice is shown. Please do not put personal data in listing fields.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe through a redirect to Stripe Checkout. Your card details go to Stripe and never touch our servers. Stripe may collect your name, email and billing details under its own privacy policy. We receive confirmation of the payment and the checkout session id, not your card number.

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare Pages and the API on a Cloudflare Worker with a D1 database. Cloudflare processes connection data such as IP addresses as part of delivering the service.

Retention and deletion

Account and purchase records are kept while needed to run the service, provide support and meet accounting obligations. Because accounts are anonymous, we can only locate yours if you give us the checkout session id or receipt from a purchase. To ask us to delete data we hold about you, email support@youngjoi.app.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above. If we change which AI providers process your text, we will update this page first.
